The Telugu film actresses Jyoti has appeared in several supporting roles and Saira played a few lead roles. They were present in an apartment with their customers and a woman from Uzbekistan was also among them at the time of raid. A source says that the identities of other seven arrested women have not been revealed yet. The prostitution racket was arrested from an area where mostly bureaucrats and ministers having houses that are why it’s also possible that many big names are also involved in the case. It’s a high security area and no one can enter without security check and permission.
It’s not the first time that actresses are involved in such case because last time a Telugu actress Seema was arrested red handed from Tarnaka area in 2009. The Ravi Teja’s brothers case is still pending due to the involvement of some big names.
After getting information about the prostitution racket the Commissioner’s Task Force took the step. Early Monday they raided the apartment and arrested them.
The news of their arrest was shocking for the Telugu film industry because it was something unexpected. A source says that police are also investigation about 60 other personalities.
Police Commissioner AK Khan is strictly following the cases of drug and prostitution and they have made a list of people who are suspected.
